SPGU-21 audio warning and intercom system

SPGU-21 provides:

• Internal telephone communication:
• between flying crew members (including when they use oxygen masks);
• between flying crew members and flight attendants;
• between flying crew members and ground maintenance personnel during parking or taxiing;
• between flight attendants including conference communications;
• Call for separate flight attendants by flying crew members;
• Emergency call for flying crew members by flight attendants;
• Passenger addressing by flying crew members and flight attendants;
• Emergency addressing passengers in the passenger cabin by flying crew members;
• Transmitting contents to the passenger cabin from the passenger entertainment system;
• Individual volume adjustment of internal and external communications;
• Performance monitoring diagnostics with generating fault signals;
• Reception and transmission to flying crew members of sound signals and voice messages from TCAS, EGRWS systems;
• Addressing the passenger cabin with information from the passenger cabin control system: transmitting commercial announcements with information about the airline company, sound advertising messages, instructions for passengers, emergency situation instructions;
• Simultaneous listening by flying crew members to one selected radio station, one selected navigation and landing service and all other incoming signal;
• Reception and decoding of selective call signals thru radios with generating sound and light alarms;
• Sending sound information transmitted and received by every crew member into the onboard recording system thru interface according to ARINC664P7-1;
  
• Storing in ROM minimum 120 sound files with total duration of up to 20 minutes and their (sound files) playback by command from aircraft systems, coming thru AFDX bus or discrete lines.
